In the context of the project "Evaluation and Analysis of Good Practices in Promoting and Supporting Migrant Entrepreneurship", JIIP and VVA have supported the European Commission with the identification of successful schemes and programmes in the field of Migrant Entrepreneurship.
The key outcome of the project, which started in January 2016, was a guide book published by DG GROWTH on the 29th of August.
On 28 June 2016, JIIP and Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) jointly organised a Dinner Debate in the European Parliament on the topics Circular Economy and Nature-based Solutions. The event was linked to the RECREATE project (www.recreate-net.eu) which is coordinated by JIIP.
On 7th December 2015, JIIP held its 7th Annual Symposium in the context of the 7th European Innovation Summit organised by Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) in the European Parliament in Brussels. The Symposium attracted more than 200 registrants and various speakers who spoke about the state of play and foreseeable future of Open Innovation practice and policy, with a particular focus eco systems and the position and role of SME’s.
